Labor immigrants transact up to $500 million a year

A task group set up by the Reforms Forum of Soros-Kyrgyzstan Foundation within the framework of the contest "Stable Economic Development of the Kyrgyz Republic" points out that labor immigrants transact up to $500 million to Kyrgyzstan from abroad every year. The document specialists came up with contains analysis and appraisal of the shape sources of economic development are in and a review of the factors that assist or impede economic development of the country.
Transactions are one of the new sources of development of the national economy. Official sources maintain that labor immigrants transact $200 million to their families in Kyrgyzstan every year. Independent experts say that the annual sums amount to $500 million.
