President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev's official visit to Japan began on November 14 to end on November 16.

The president's schedule includes a meeting with Emperor Akihito and negotiations with Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Speaker of the House of Representatives Yuhei Kono, chairman of the Parliamentary League of the Japanese-Kyrgyz Friendship, Minister of Financial Control and Administrative Reforms Yoshimi Watanabe, and other officials.

Bakiyev will attend the business seminar intended to attract Japanese investments to Kyrgyz economy and visit some Japanese corporations and companies.
