Four political parties scaled the 5% barrier in the snap parliamentary election in Kyrgyzstan - Ak Jol with 46.99%, Socialist Party Ata-Meken with 8.29%, Communist Party (5.12%), and Social-Democratic Party (5.05%). Only three of them, however, succeeded in scaling the so called regional barrier (0.5% in every region and cities of Bishkek and Osh). Ata-Meken representing the unite Kyrgyz opposition appears to have failed in this respect.

The Central Electoral Commission removed from its web site information on political parties' performance in the regions, but sources claim that Ata-Meken failed in Osh.

Ata-Meken functionaries say that should the Central Electoral Commission proclaim the party's failure, they will come up with copies of protocols signed by local electoral commissions proving that Ata-Meken polled more than 0.5% in Osh.
